I like this boy, but does he like me back?

There is this boy, and i really like him. But I dont know if he likes me. He says hi to me in class, and we used to sit next to each other in class. We are both really smart, and we were on the spell bown team. We got to know each other really well. He is a basketball player and im on the dance team. He had a girl friend but they broke up. HELP! Oh and he smiles and looks at me ALL THE TIME. And my teacher puts us together in class and I am like always getting seated next to him. Once on my way to lunch, I walked past him and he said " Why hello, you look really pretty today.". And I was like, screaming on the inside. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
