A question about curtains?

i have these curtains that have holes almost the very top of the curtain and i have long strings that can be put in these holes so you can tie them up to make toppers... now my question is how to i roll the curtains up to make toppers? i've tried a long time to figure it out but i cant make them look good. i can add a picture of them if i need too.
