Need Feedback for a book I'm writing?

You seem to be on the right track but there are a few things not working. First you need to work on spelling and run on sentences: a few read-throughs would correct that. You also do a lot of telling and not showing. Go back through and put sentences together. Show me things. This looks good for a first draft. Keep working on it.
