Through the looking glass wedding ideas?

I am having a 'Through the Looking Glass' themed wedding. The colors are red, black, and white and the main emphasis is chess. The cake toppers will be the King and Queen, etc. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had some clever ideas for decorations or centerpieces?
